How the hell does he have a better internet connection than us to the U.S., when we're IN the U.S? The Koreans must have some kind of hyperadvanced technology.

No, they actually put money into their internet's infrastructure instead of how the US went about it.

Telcoms got a grant for them to improve their internet to where we would all have really nice internet speed for broadband. They used it all on their long distance services. Then the US lowered their definition of broadband speeds so the telcoms would be perfectly fine.

Note that the download location is SeongSeoul, so if he were actually connected to a -US- server the speed would probably be halved or so. But even still; that is a really fast connection. Alternatively, my dial-up is so slow it bugs speedtest.net into thinking I have a 120 MB/s upload speed.
