Let me start by saying that I am in no way intending to criticize or belittle the work done by the Brotherhood here. Anything complex and worth doing will encounter unanticipated complications, and this goes doubly for any project involving legacy code or conforming to/relying on some external application.
Naturally, rather than just posting for the lulz, the best course of action is to email a bug report; that being said, all of these particular hiccups have since been fixed so far as I'm aware, and I thought some folks might enjoy them.
At any rate, here are a few things that have happened to me (spoilerized for no better reason than to keep the page tidy):
In this one, either something went amiss with the game or my network connection failed on me (or both). When I logged back in I was fighting not fire dragons, but three shadowy and rather familiar looking gentlemen.
Unfortunately, the situation was a stalemate, as I was unable to select any of them to attack, and they seemed uninterested in actually hurting me.
With no obvious options to proceed, I figured I'd go get a bite to eat and let whatever would happen, happen.
When I logged back in, happily the three gentlemen were in a less confrontational mood and let me wander about. There were no encounters to speak of, and I could pitch and strike the tent without issue. The borders of the picture were black and impassable, and the upper left tile was a bridge, oddly enough.
I did confirm that other people entering the game could see me capering about on the title screen, which was kind of fun. At the time, it did not occur to me to deface the place with potions, but tagging someone's title screen would have been a bit jerkish to do anyway.
Still, I had a nice short name... oh, well.
Eventually I just used recall and all was well.
This happened shortly after a fight in which I continually received two command prompts per turn. After the battle was finished, I kept receiving the prompts -- anything targeted did nothing, so I figured I'd try out something untargeted (call of the fox).
And it worked. After that, I would periodically see "You have already called the beast within you for this battle."; presumably I was stuck trying to use "call of the fox" again.
For the curious, the fox has no facing nor animation. It will always look to the left, and just slides around when moving.
At any rate, logging out and back in did clear things up.
