Well, This message really was more of a question at first. I have e-mailed it out I believe. I was wondering if the game producers had thought of alternative hosting when they were unable to host? Or what the requirements would be if there is alternative hosting capable. I would like to converse a little while if possible on this idea. As I see Kija around the most I figure hes the man to talk to and already paged him and figure I might get a answer to this here sooner perhaps. Sincerely, Devilstower

It has been discussed, but we want to keep things on all one server. To do this, we just have one host that runs one server. The server is up most of time; it has a server monitor program to check for crashes and automatically reboot, although sometimes the port will not reset, so in those few moments it may take a bit longer.
Mettool does take a break on Saturdays though, so he can play online games without the strain and let the computer rest as well since it runs the entire rest of the week.
It would be nice to have a faster connection with a server that ran all week, but finding some one that we trust enough, has the right connection, and correct computer specifications is not easy. The only people we do trust enough do not have the other two qualifications.

I'm not trying to be an asshole, but I'm gonna be blunt here, since it's about the best way to get the point across: How many more people have to be told no before people nobody knows will stop asking if they can host?
