1. No double posting; no spam; text must be in a readable color, size, and style; and put topics where they belong. I know that there are several sub-forums, but don't ask how to play the game in the Compliments board.
2. Don't flame/disrespect other members. This includes harassing other people based on sex/race/sexual orientation, etc. Also, bothering someone in a positive way (Leave Emiko alone, people) falls under this if the target is annoyed. If you respect us, we'll respect you, this goes for everyone.
3. Do not advertise other BYOND games here, regardless of what type of BYOND game they are and regardless of your connection to the game/games. Our server and forums is not a place for recruiting "groupies" to come to your own personal belongings. In other words, there are BYOND-centric areas you can go to in order to find programmers, hosts, graphic designers, and bug fixing help; like the Classified section of the BYOND forums. FF:THG is not one of these BYOND-centric areas.
4. Version X (put the next version in line to be released in place of X, of course) will come out when it's ready. If that deadline comes and goes without Version X, do not ceaselessly ask when it actually WILL come out. If an admin doesn't give you a concrete answer, asking again and again is not going to magically give them the insight needed to provide you with an answer. In other words, Bubba likes people who continually ask about Version X. Opinions vary, but the majority of people sent to Bubba tend not to like him, for undisclosed reasons. So again, please don't ask about Version X any more than is necessary. Also, don't harass Mahn or any other Brotherhood member about the server. This counts for the game, forum, and Instant Messenger programs.
5. No unnecessary thread necromancy. By this we mean don't revive old threads unless you intend to post worthwhile and relevant content. An old thread is a thread that hasn't been posted on in more than a week or so. Seriously, threads die for a reason. In compilence to this, don't create several topics of the same discussions or ideas.
More specifically, making a post in an old thread about your favorite class that amounts to 'lol i agree' is a violation of this rule. Making a post in that same thread where you say what your favorite is and give a semi-detailed (at the least) explanation as to why that class is your favorite, on the other hand, is acceptable. Making that same detailed post in an old thread about your favorite video game is unnecessary and gets you the same punishment as a 'lol +1 post count' post.
Topics that have been stickied, can freely be replied to any time, unless stated otherwise.
6. If you are going to post, make your post worth something. Some of you have been posting one-sentence messages fifty times a day (you know who you are). Please refrain from doing this, as it borders on spamming, and annoys people who are trying to have a serious discussion on a topic. In other words, do not treat this forum as if it were a chat-room. If you're going to have one-sentence conversations, do it elsewhere.
If one of the proceeding rules doesn't sound like it'd fit into the forums, trust us, it does.
NOTE: Do note that the "Tral's Creations" section has it's own set of rules and disciplinary actions set and reinforced by Tral himself.[/b]
