I have decided to hold and create a new contest. Starting February 1st and lasting up until February 28th, all of your posts and attitude goes under review by The Brotherhood. This includes EVERYBODY. Favoritism will not be shown, nor will any Brotherhood member be able to become "Member of the Month". On March 1st, The Brotherhood will vote on who should get the award. They will then get a "custom title" and their information will be displayed on a link at the bottom of the main page under "Forum Statistics". They will be displayed there throughout the month as recognition. The contest then restarts over as soon as a winner is decided. It lasts the same as before, a whole month. Good luck. This contest begins next month.

This sounds like fun. Heh, I wonder how this will work on April 1st I wouldn't be surprised if something random like the ORLY owl was made memeber of the month (just for April Fool's day, of course lol)

lolz, I wonder if anyone will vote for me. For some reason I doubt it. >_>
The only reason people know me is for spamming O RLY lolz (and having those emo outbursts when no one would party with me >_>)

Can't say I'm very thrilled by the idea of making a contest out of something that everybody's already doing(on the threat of boot/ban/jailing)... Must we compete over EVERYTHING?
We've had contests with Artpad.com, we've had them with MS Paint, we had a contest of sheer luck with the V8 Val test(although, I gotta admit, selecting testers could've gotten pretty messy without it), and probably some others I've forgotten about. And now you're making one basically to see who gets bitched at the least, and show it off to the whole world? And this one takes a bit less talent to win! With the others, you had to be a good artist. In this case, it looks like a simple matter of running around training, and only using wsay for the sake of calling someone on caps/spam!

In this case, it looks like a simple matter of running around training, and only using wsay for the sake of calling someone on caps/spam! Who said anything about the ideal member being the one who trains the most? Aren't you the one with the highest leveled character in the game? If it were based on that, you'd have the contest in the bag every month. Not to mention that "only using Wsay to call someone on caps/spam" is NOT model behavior. That's backseat moderating, and that in itself should be punishable if taken to an extreme. (Is this irony? ) I doubt you meant it, but being well-behaved doesn't take less effort than winning on luck of the draw. Besides, nobody actually got an award for the MSpaint contest.

Oh? then go Powerlevel your ass and ignore it, that simple. Real funny... 1. I REALLY should call you on harassment for that one. I'm going to have to do it to someone at some point before those retarded-ass jokes finally stop entirely. Frankly, it doesn't matter to me who it is, either. 2. Ignoring shit is an easier-said-than-done thing, y'know. If it was just a wsay thing, it wouldn't be a problem; I could just shut it off and not have to worry about it. Problem is, that's not the case. I COULD stop coming to the forums, but this is where all the news gets announced. If you ask someone about something that can be found on the forum, chances are they're gonna link you to the forum rather than just tell you. So, yeah, ignoring it is tougher than it sounds if you expect to remain informed. To shorten all that bullshit I just said, I can't ignore it. My attention span doesn't become limited when I want it to. Now let's not make a huge argument of this, alright? If I wanna criticize something, I have that right. So does everyone else. Criticize my criticism all you want, but if you're going to, try to come up with something besides telling me to ignore what I'm criticizing. Or maybe you could try your own solution, and ignore me. I'm not saying it's based on levels. I think you know what I mean. I hope to God you do; it's kinda tough to put into words. Not to mention that "only using Wsay to call someone on caps/spam" is NOT model behavior. That's backseat moderating, and that in itself should be punishable if taken to an extreme. (Is this irony? ) At least by not saying anything, you're guaranteeing you're not gonna say something stupid. Worked for me in high school. And when you inform someone that they used too many caps or too much spam, that's basically demonstrating you know the rules(or those two, at least), and are trying to help a person out by not letting them go on breaking them until an admin takes notice and deals with it personally. Or that you're stingy/an asshole. I hope that's not the case with everyone who says caps or spam every time they see it. There's usually about 2 or 3 people that do so, that I've seen. I doubt you meant it, but being well-behaved doesn't take less effort than winning on luck of the draw. Besides, nobody actually got an award for the MSpaint contest. When I made the comment about this taking less talent to win, I was referring to the art contests. That luck of the draw thing... Well, if you can somehow find a way to consider being lucky a talent, I'm going to sell you to science. <_<

Nah. See, it's not based on levels either. It's based on forum posts and general attitude. You are right, however, when you say that saying nothing means you won't say anything bad. The problem is that you won't say anything good either. And I was only teasing you about the luck thing. Although I must say that outside of games that involve random level up gains, I'm quite lucky indeed...

OK. Fine. Depending how bad this thread goes;; I'll just cancel it, remove the link, take away the countdown timer, and implement a code to where only "polls" are able to be made on the "Brotherhood Board". Since, "polls" are a type of "competing" since it is about "power-levelers", "The nicest person", etc etc. Keep up the discussion over "competing" and "fun". I'll look it over in a few days and decide to keep it going. C'ya Soon. NOTE - Healthy discussions are good for the brain.

I personally like the idea of a Member of the Month. It gives people a reason to act civil instead of just acting like jerks on the server.
Good idea, I will continue to be myself for this though I see no reason to change the way I act.

Sounds cool to me. I may also be the only on to notice but umm, Sarm.. Why don't you PLAY the game anymore? You have time to come onto the forums and HEAR about stuff that happened in a game, that you weren't there for.
Btw, Not saying it isn't cool to hear from you, just saying I'd like it more if came to the game again. A lot of us made new alts, you can always do it to.
And Mahn, Who determines if it's a healthy discussion? OMG Teh Adminz gits ta

And Mahn, Who determines if it's a healthy discussion? OMG Teh Adminz gits ta It should be a "common rule". You know; no flaming/disrespect, complete sentence structures, using your brain and resources instead of saying "OMG i 1ikz ThiZ C0013r", etc etc. Basically, like debating. Debating is healthy but if it gets out of control, not cool.

NOTE - Healthy discussions are good for the brain. And closing threads with healthy discussions are bad for good discussions, hence bad for the brain. <_< You are right, however, when you say that saying nothing means you won't say anything bad. The problem is that you won't say anything good either. True. But hey, a little peace and quiet never hurt anyone. I know this from experience(don't ask me to explain; I don't wanna get into it and piss myself off thinking about it). And I was only teasing you about the luck thing. Although I must say that outside of games that involve random level up gains, I'm quite lucky indeed... Share the wealth, buddy. I need some. Hell, they say it's better to be lucky than smart, anyway. Sounds cool to me. I may also be the only on to notice but umm, Sarm.. Why don't you PLAY the game anymore? Y'know, that's funny... I had that thought about the time I was replying to him a few minutes ago.

Besides, I burned myself out very quickly from FF:THG and currently my favorite alt is stuck in limbo land since he's too weak for the ice caverns but can no longer party with people. *Cough*

I'm intrested about who it's going to be. I know it's not me cause I've been flaming people who've been acting stupid lately ("Omg, you can still powerlevel" then kija said in the terms of "But it's been cut down drastically" and the moron said "LOLOL!!! But you can still keep a character somewere and powerlevel other people harharharhar).
I'd be happy with Papa Smurf getting it. He's never rude (Hell, I don't think I've seen him say anything closely related to being rude before) and he's always helpful and great to party with.

And I doubt that every single post he ever made was something constructive.
