Fighter Black Belt Knight Dragoon Thief Ranger Red Mage Blue Mage White Mage Black Mage
Group them into 5 pairs that you think would make good duo teams. For example: White Mage and Fighter, Dragoon and Ranger, etc.
Make sure you use all 10 classes and that there are no duplicates or repeats. For example: You cannot have White Mage and White Mage; you cannot have White Mage and Black Mage and then have White Mage and Fighter.
I just felt like posting something fun because the forums seems to be dying...

Knight and Blue Mage (as if anyone would think I would do these two any other way) Fighter and White Mage Black Mage and Dragoon Thief and Red Mage Black Belt and Ranger (ok these are leftovers so what)
I think it's milenko that uses that last duo and they work pretty badass so there.

Thief/Bluemage (The unhittable combo) RM/BB WM/Fighter Knight/Dragoon Blackmage/Ranger
If you had to seperate into 5 teams, I think these 5 would have the best survival ratio.
My personal favorate dous are. RM/BB Ranger/BB Bluemage/Fighter Knight/Blackmage (though the BM dies frequently) Knight/Bluemage (more survivability) Bluey/Dragoon (unstopable!)

No one's mentioned Black Belt/Thief? That is a DAMNED good combo up until ICs (but then again anything melee or lacking Fires sucks at ICs either way).

You guys might not agree but my Redmage/Blackmage combo is working like a charm in ToTE ;D... Red/Black Black/White Blue/Dragoon White/Knight And then everyone's ultimate, all-time favorite... Dragoon/Dragoon The truly unstoppable.

- Red Mage & Knight.
- Ranger & Thief.
- Fighter & Dragoon.
- White Mage & Black Mage.

Um... I would like to try! Though more than half of these classes I've never used.. So I really have no clue!~
+ Whitemage/Thief o.o.. Please don't question my tastes in pairing! >-<; You never know. A Thief might need a cure here and there!~ E-Eh.. @-@;
+ Fighter/Redmage U-Um.. Redmages can cure a bit, y-yes? I'm not sure, but there could be a good outcome!
+ Blackmage/Ranger They can both handle themselves well in battle, from what I've so far experienced!
+ Knight/Bluemage I'm not sure what Bluemages do, but I'm sure they can help the Knight lots~
+ Blackbelt/Dragoon They are both super-strong~ And the Blackbelt can hold themselves in battle, while the Dragoon jumps! o.o; I'm not sure how long a blackbelt can withstand it though..

Fighter/WM - Usual pairing, yes, but it's nice being able to shield the healer from direct attacks.
Dragoon/Blue Mage - Blue mage's survivability is pretty damn high, and its ability to debuff foes and buff the goon are top notch.
Knight/Black Mage - No healing the knight here, but again the black mage's ability to boost the knight helps out a lot in many battles.
Thief/Red Mage - Red Mage is a master survivalist in all situations if played well, and its plethora of small buffs can help the thief out as well.
Black Belt/Ranger - Both classes can buff themselves decently (Bear strength and wereforms), both can sustain themselves fairly well with their healing abilities, and in a pinch the ranger can revive.

Also kumog, and others who mentioned it, I find the blue mage much more favorable for the knight and the black mage much more favorable for the goon. The reason being, because of the fact that he stays grounded, the knight finds himself in need of a healer on many more occasions than a goon does, and both blue and black mage are well suited to handling themselves all alone on the ground, even if the blue mage is a tad better at it.

I would pair up a Knight and a White Mage because i love both classes, and what I like about both is a Knight can take hits and is strong, a White Mage can heal fast. Their spells are good too. (Harm 1-3, Lightstorm, etc.) I like WM cuz of their spells. I'm lvl 16 can't wait to get Lightstorm.

Darkfire and Psychostorm tend to kick dino ass too, and I'm not about to consider either of them part of an outstanding strategy. Plus, all it takes is for one hungry big dino to eat your Knight and you don't have an ER to abuse. Add on that half of the classes in the game get a good source of self-healing and/or ways to increase their evasion, and not only do they have ways of quickly regaining HP when/if they get wounded, they can make sure that Eat's chances of success don't range from decent to high. Add in monster traits like parahit and sleephit, both of which also have their effectiveness hindered if you're harder to hit. So, Lure+ER is nice but it's hardly something that makes a Knight/Dragoon combo outstanding, since its lifespan is about as long as that of... well, Psychostorm or Darkfire.

Yes, thats true, but i can't have my WM and Knight on at the smae time. i was stupid and put them both on the same key. I can't them equally train them either, you can tell because my Knight is lvl 29, WM is 16. Plus, i usually ( about 95%) of the time i party with someone. BM have very strong spells, but die fast. Knights have a butt-load of HP. (Mine has 350)
BTW, wats ER?

theif/bluemage knight/whitemage fighter/blackbelt redmage/dragoon ranger/rblackmage
I've tried all these combos out, till SS atleast, and so far the best of them, for me atleas,t is the fighter/blackbelt and theif/bluemage. Yes I know Bolt and DD are the theif/bluemage combo but they work pretty damn good. My fighter/blackbelt combo is still at mona, dunno why, and they dish out damage pretty damn good...until they need heal which than they're screwed XD

Yeah I was using sarcasm when I meant everyone's 'all-time favorite'. I dont really like it.. It happens to suck ass when they get to the ground... When they land They will magic the shit outta them in like one round... And normally if one dragoon dies, the other goon will die too.. And thats exactly why they are nerfing the dragoons.. THEY ARE WAY TOO FUCKING POWERFUL!!!
