I was watching the News Yesterday..
I noticed something that was a complete waste of freaking time..
Instead of looking for New Species or Cures for some diseases..
THEY INVENTED A PILL THAT TAKES OUT EXCERCISE!!
They said it was a pill that gives more Endurance so people save a trip to the gym >_>.. That is the biggest waste of time for scientists.. These scientests really piss me off... People are dieing from AIDs, Cancer, and they could give less of a shit for the cure and rather go make pills to make people fit.. God damned American Scientists...
*Shoves Scientists into Hell*

You forgot to mention that this pill will also cost thousands. Also, its main target is the elderly and handicapped because they CAN'T exercise.

Why would pharmaceutical companies want a cure for cancer? I can shove these pills here, and there, but not on cancer! There may be a cure for cancer some day, but the pill-form will cost $20,000 just because it can.

I can see some uses for the pill. My mom needs knee replacement surgery before she gets too old to get it done. She has been overweight her entire life, 60% of it is genetic and very hard to combat. She's at a point now where she cannot get the exercise needed to work with anything but the most strict diet plans which do not feed the hunger pains when her body and brain tell her she needs to eat. You could say it's on the level of drug addiction; its mostly mental, partially chemical. She can exercise in a pool but theres no hope she will ever lose weight at this point; she has enough years left if she could exercise and eat right she could easily lose the weight before she gets older and more feeble.
If the pill could supplement her inability to exercise to help compliment a more tolerable diet then more power to it. Unfortunately in America everything is usually a double-edged sword, so I'm pretty sure we'll see 20 yr old fat bitches taking it too 'cause they can't stand sweating for a good healthy workout.

Hurrah! The next congressional hearing with some sports league is going to be about those things now! Now we can get congress to waste time on something that some people already feel is a waste of time!

No. What happens is that out of shape mice that take this pill get roughly a 60% increase to endurance; a mouse that IS in shape gets about an 82% increase to endurance. Endurance ties together much exercise - there is a point that you can get so little endurance that you don't have the endurance to exercise to increase your endurance. Likewise, people that are severely overweight have such little endurance that it's almost impossible to improve themselves enough to be at a calorie deficit and lose weight without hurting themselves or taking many many many years. For example - I'm 280 pounds, a BMI of some 31. The most I have ever ran without stopping is about three minutes. A light jog can take me up to ten minutes. And I'm not SEVERELY overweight.

Seriously. They yawn if they see you yawn.

Can't remember what comedian says this, but he said it was bad when they pay for studies like that with tax dollars, but even worse when they pay with tax dollars for studies that find out the previous studies were waste of tax-payer money.

Ah.
But anyways, in my opinion I think thats its a waste of time. Just an opinion. Although you guys have pointed out some major points. So I'd mostly say, ermm uh. I dont think its that big of a deal. The Government wasted alot of money on that instead they coulda done alot more with that money.

Getting rich is easy. Sure, it may guarantee you a seat in hell, but the best, and almost only way, to get rich is to step on people, rip them off, and show no remorse in practically stealing their money. After all, it's damned near impossible to get rich purely by hard work. (Alternatively, you can pull an Icanhascheezburger, steal a meme, shape it into your own, create a website, get millions of hits, and pull in $6,000 monthly from advertisements on the website alone.)

Yes and to do that your gunna need assistance. And its not guaranteed that you going to get costumers, or fans, in a heart-beat. Its gunna take a while until you become a bigshot. And its not guaranteed wealth either.
I'd say hard work and effort can pull the job. Realis you have a way of becoming rich easy as well. Your a smart kid teen. you turned 16, and your smart as hell. You might as well go to college someday, get a degree (any degree.. I want to go for a master's but its your choice.) and people will be begging for you to work for them. People like brainiacs. And im not being sarcastic or trying to offend anyone here. All it takes is a few more years of school. Thats the hardest part. School. Learning more in a 'hell hole' is the worst that can happento you if you try to get rich academicly.
If your into sports like me. Train. Practice. Learn from your mistakes. And soon you'll be in the NBA, or NFL, or UEFA, or FIFA or whatever you wanna be in. Just needs blood, sweat, and tears, and you'll be there in no time. Yeah it looks easy at first and sure as hell sounds easier than it looks, but just practice, and I an almost guarantee you'll be there. We can all do something special, so lets get off our asses and go for it.

Here, I'll give you an example. Kevin Trudeau. He sells this book called, "Natural Cures THEY Don't Want You to Know About" He says that the government is hiding natural cures from us that can cure us of Cancer, AIDs even, but are just keeping to drugs to get rich. Here's a script of his infomercial concerning the fact, along with a Doctor's analysis of it. www.infomercialwatch.org/tran/trudeau.shtmlWhy do I bring this up? He has made millions of dollars by ripping off every person trusting enough to believe him in what he says (which you can understand how he does it in the analysis) and then to buy this book, which doesn't even contain information about the point at hand. He even claims out that the book is free, which is a load of crock for obvious reasons. You get ripped off every day, for that matter. Just look around, consider it. Wal-Mart sells slightly old games still for 50-60 dollars. I can get the same games at a game trading store for 15-20 dollars, and still that is a bit much. The reason why you probably aren't going to get money for hard work and determination is because people will always step on you and rip you off to get rich themselves.

Oh my bad. Oh well.. Ill keep that there.. It can be a life lesson for some people that read it..
So he pretty much sells books that arent true just to get rich?
What a selfish bastard.
Lol, yeah sometimes hard work can be a pain in the ass.. Like me for example..
I am 13 years old and working.. My job is a pain in the ass.. When I work hard, someone comes out of nowhere and takes all the glory from what should be mine only because they are older than me and have more experience than I do...

Work laws change depending on family owned, or private business, or corporations. Also schooling. Public schools, I think, have harder rules to it than private. Although the time I did work while in school, I was told 14. That was in private, and not family owned.
