I've had an account on ffthg for a while, granted i dont play as often as alot of ppl here, but the wsay channel is flooded with ,excuse my lanuage, but spam. now i dont mean advertisement, but pointless messages that aren't even remotely close to the game, or just plain rediculous. i think the wsay channel should be reserved for OOC game related Messageing, and another channel for those who like to talk shit and rant and rave about bullcrap to talk on. i know i can just turn off the channel, but occasionally i need to use it or like to hear whats going on. If anything, can you enforce a more strict code of conduct for the wsay channel?

If you feel staff members arent watching the channel closely enough, that's one thing. Granted it's a discretion question. But why should we have rules only to make a channel for people to rant and talk all the shit they want? Essentially it'll make them think they can do it anywhere. Sorry, but I don't support this. It'll only worsen the problem in the long run. If people can't control themselves, we have verbs to fix that.
Trying to say that Worldsay should ONLY be strictly for game-related messaging, for one, will cause a TON of confusion, as it's been this way since before I started playing it, and for two, will cause us to have to punish people if they consistently speak outside-of-game messages in the wrong channel. And I'm sorry, but I've seen that on a few other games. No one looked like they were having fun, and despite my love of keeping the law, I won't ever watch it go from administration to nazism. I would forever quit THG personally if it came to that.

Yea, I agree with Nate thar, wh would Wsay be directed for game based shit? I do not see why you think that, I for one talk about non-game related almost everytime Im logged on, and by making a seperate Chat system would mean more coding for Kija and it would take Version 8 alot longer to be programmed.

No. (See how easy that was, people?)

No. (See how easy that was, people?) Actually, that was just an ass move, after people have specified no. If someone were to ONLY say no, then the people that were asking a question would want to know why. This would only create more drama and bullshit from arguing about it than if someone were to explain why not in the first place. Furthermore, such a reply was not needed. He has not replied at all, and it is presumable that he has read it and understood why not.
