I'll be the old fart who claims SNES. One of the greatest libraries in console history, and hosted some of the best games from some of the best franchises around (FFIV, FFVI, Super Metroid, LoZ: Link to the Past, Super Mario RPG, Lufia II, etc. etc.)

you list playstation 2 and 3 but not playstation 1?
my vote goes to playstation 1, however NES is following close behind as thats what started all the classic games we know of today

The real reason I make this post is to say I love your current avatar. Not as great as milenko's, but still good.

Hey! Where's the N64 in all of this? It gave us great games like the first Super Smash Bros. and Ocarina of Time. Not to mention the great controller. And Mario 64 is one of the best all time.

I'm going to have to agree with this. I wish they would bring back that type of controller, I absolutely hate the X-box one and to a degree the Gamecube one, and I think the PS controller is just too bland. PS1 comes in second place.

I know you didn't list Lufia II, LP. Lufia II's story was not presented at ALL as it should have been.

System? Probably the PS2... even though mine is broken. A lot of my favorite games are on it... Dark Cloud 2, Disgaea, The Bouncer, Kingdom Hearts. I would complain about the issues it gave me before it broke, but all of my systems have some kind of problem. The SNES is a close second though. Note: If handhelds were included I would have went with the GBA, since it feeds my TBT addiction.

that's what i said to myself when i saw nemo! but i think my favorite multiplayer game ever, forever would have to be super smash for the n64.. and then i love ff7... objectively it would be a tie between ps1 and n64, but im a sony fanboy so i would have voted for the ps... lol

Holy crap, someone remembers me. I didn't expect that from anyone except maybe Mahn, Taterz and (maybe) Kija. Of course now that I see the names, Rand and Jumin sound very familiar... Jumin moreso... but that's straying from the topic.
I was thinking about it, and I may have to rethink my answer. The PS2 is spiffy, there's no doubt about that in my mind, but now that I mull it over I used to play a lot of PS1 games on it. Grandia, Brigandine, FFT, Valkyrie Profile, ect... going by that logic I'd have to say PS1 is my favorite... playing them on the PS2 messed up my thinking.

I'm just quiet when allowed. I've played (and own) all of those except for Valkyrie Profile. Good choices, Nemo.

I remember Nemo. and seeing as how i grew up on the N64 (and (S)Nes, N64 would have won, but i went with360 solely for Guitar Hero III, Rock Band, and Halo3 =D=D=D mostly Halo3 though...

I guess this is a really hard Poll for most people, but since I haven't really played any of the other systems, I enjoy the Playstation 2. Even though there are several other Game Systems catching up. o.o

Lol, Hiro's right Halo3 completely made the 360 worth buying... almost that and Bioshock alone.

The only problem with the nintendo 64 controller was the prototype control stick. Its easy to break, and heck, it can damage your hand =( Thing is, I was playing mario party and my brother and I played a tug of war game where I was the bowser character against him and two other computer players. Pretty much what you have to do in this game is to rotate the control stick as fast as you can. I decided to use my palm to do this. This, however was a bad idea, because what had happened was that the control stick literally tore off the first layer of my skin in the middle of my hand and made it feel like it was on fire. The end result of the mini-game? A Tie. >_>

Unnecessary thread necromancy. Like we've said, if you're going to cast Life on a topic, make it Life 2 and not Life 1.
