ive a question, u kno how every ff game has ambushes and preemptive strikes, well, y does ffthg only have ambushes?

I believe this was talked about before. Currently, the investigators are "stronger" then the chaotics in all stats. Right now, "ambushes" are the only "balancing" out on the investigators and the chaotics. If pre-emptive strikes WERE implemented right now, it would give the investigators even move of an edge against the chaotics. The battle system has no AI at all; so, in balancing out the chaotics having no AI against the investigators who have AI(your brain whether you choose to use it or not); is more monsters(battles) and even more monsters(ambushes). It has been talked about, still talking, among The Brotherhood on these matters of "balancing" and "AI".

not to mention, you'd hate Pre-emp strikes...there'd be practically NO monsters...
