Err.. This is my first time posting things on forum.. please forgive me for my poor english also im quite new to this game.
Right, I'd like to suggest a quest for legendary weapon in the game. As you know, in every FFs games there are legendary weapon for each class. For example, Excalibur for a knight, Muramasa and Masamune for a ninja, Holy lance for a dragoon and etc. It would be great to have this in FFTHG eh. But i still have no idea about Blackbelt.
There could be like a tower. The character must be enlightened to enter the tower to take the test. I'm still not sure which is better between.. The quest will be individually and will be different for each class or it can be a party. If you pass the test then you get the weapon or equipment for your class.
If you guys think there should be something more, please do suggest.

Request denied, but don't feel bad your 100 predecessors couldn't push it through congress either.
The case for legendary weapons is that THG doesn't really rely on the quest for the most powerful weapon!!!! (Not to mentions its been slowly pulling away from all ties to Final Fantasy (all thats left are the icons I believe)) This games more about the storyline and bosses.
I hope to see you more involved in the forums!

Don't mind Kyou's first remark, he doesn't have any actual authority over what gets into the game and what doesn't.
Kija and myself have discussed something to do with weapons/equipment and we have some ideas, but they won't be in the game for a long time if implemented. That's all I can say about that.

There are discussion for better weapons, but I would not consider to be "legendary" weapons. I do not think going out to do so some complicated quest for a weapon would fit too well in the story.
The main part of the story is to investigate the Hunting Grounds, so the majority of progress should be centered around that. By going to find some weapon, it could bring the focus more on getting cooler stuff than finding out what is wrong with the world.
Special weapons are not completely out of consideration, but it would have to fit into the storyline in such a way that it feels like it is part of the story.

A 'simple' way would be that Enlightenment does more than just enhance stats. An Enlightened character has the ability to look through the armor/weapon shops in ToTE and see a weapon/armor designed just for that particular class. For those classes that already get a 'unique' item (Knights and the Knight Sword, Dragoons and the Grand Pike, Thieves and the Backstabber, Fighters and the Atlas Axe), the item could get a boost to its stats, sort of a way of showing what those weapons are truly capable of when in the hands of someone blessed by the power of Nexus. As for the other six classes:
- Black Mages might get a staff that improves their willpower by 10%. - Blue Mages might get a headpiece that makes them immune to status ailments, while further improving their resistance to Demi, Quarter and Rub. - Rangers might get a suit of leather armor with the defense of Plate Mail but the weight of a Gold Robe, on top of a chance of casting Camouflage when hit (even in were-form). - Red Mages might get a buckler that can be 'activated' through their Skills menu in battle in order to enchant a target player with Boost 2, Barrier 2 and Shield 2. - Black Belts might get a pair of bracers that improve their melee damage, number of hits, and the power of Aurabolt. - White Mages might get a ring that improves the power of their healing spells by 20%.

I could have sworn I put a clause in there stating I had no actual authority, must have slipped my mind.

It would not be legendary yet each could give a stat boost of some sort!

This is thread necromancy. Ideas are appreciated, but if this thread hasn't been posted on in months, please direct opinions with a thread reference to a Brotherhood member.
