My idea was to allow up to one extra person in viewing with an Admin, but people would argue about not having view themselves, and Rahl's idea is viewing, just you have to be beside the party... That's just the same as viewing, except for a condition having to be met, such as being beside the party.
I also say its like assist, that the leader has to accept.

I think it has been suggested before (or at least talked about,) but I do think it would be interesting. Watching someone's battle while you wait for them to finish, or just for the hell of it, seems fun. Especially while you're in a tent healing or something and have nothing better to do.
I only see it happening if it's restricted to the party in battle being right next to you, and without permission of the administrators, because that would just be plain annoying. Viewing with an admin, I don't see happening. But the party thing is a really good idea.

The idea is if you stand next to a party, you can click 'view' (similar to assist) and if the leader accepts you can watch their battle. Its not really too admin like cause they have to accept and its only to battles you can be next to. So you cant view a boss.
To make it fair if you view you cant turn around and then assist.

Hmm... I guess Rahl's idea is good. Better than mine. So, that would be useful for killing time.

When battlemarkers were originally added, a spectate command had been planned with it, but then it never happened. It is possible that it may be added later though.

Thats very nice to know Kija..Now eventually we can just spectate the battle when we want to see how they do during an ambush..or just spectate a regular battle to see if they need help to know whether they need an assist or not.
