The ten guilds section of the website could use an update, specifically, the recommended builds section. I fail to see the virtue of including a pure willpower blackbelt, among others, and then turning right around less than a paragraph later saying "LOL GIMMICK". Seems kinda self defeating.

Heres a couple things he could put in.
BB - Agi/Str - With the light armor you have a pretty decent evasion, and you will go first often enough when you need to pull out a Mantra.
Thief - HP/Agi - I mostly used this as a gold collecter. But I found that it takes forever to kill one of these thieves. You may not do a bunch of damage but hey, your a thief for christ sakes but sometimes absorbing all those misses isn't bad for your team.
Blu - Agi/ MP - This is pretty much a status mage, your main attack is going to be Poison, but you have easier access to the buffer and status spells that makes bluemages unique.
Red - Vit/Wp- This a TANK and when you get Cure 3, your going to last a long long while.

The ten guilds section of the website could use an update, specifically, the recommended builds section. I fail to see the virtue of including a pure willpower blackbelt, among others, and then turning right around less than a paragraph later saying "LOL GIMMICK". Seems kinda self defeating. Oddly enough, there will be some players who think that the +2 willpower build on a BB is perfectly viable as opposed to a gimmick (if not an outright mistake). As such, listing such a build and noting why it is a gimmick, a hard to use build, or an outright terrible build is not the self-defeating action you make it out to be. The same would apply to a Thief who puts any points into dexterity or a Ranger who invests heavily into willpower and MP; sometimes only listing 'good' builds isn't the best approach. There's nothing wrong with listing less viable to outright bad approaches, so long as it is noted why the build is bad or will require more work to pull off compared to another build. Players can then see why those builds would be bad or difficult, instead of just going ahead and working on them under the assumption that eventually the build will start working as well as a more solid one (and in some cases getting irritated when they find it falls apart past the midpoint of the game unlike a more solid build). In the end, some of these suggestions for how to build a character will be better overall than others. Furthermore, some will be designed for the min-max player in mind, some will be designed for those who want to challenge themselves, some will be designed to give the most breathing room for a new player, some will be designed for a player who wants to goof around with a gimmick, and so on. As for Kyou's suggested builds, once Freewebtown starts letting me view it, I can update the character page with said builds.

Some of them might be more viable come V8.

So it they will be viable in 2 years. When none of us still play ... good.

I have the EXP system rewritten. I have the advanced classes done and the way they will be set up and drawn out of the storyline completely finished in my notebook, waiting for insertion. The equipment sheets are next. It's drawing ever closer. All hail Faru's brilliant mind.

Glad to hear that. I'll be even more glad to hear when Kija gets it inserted into the source code, and yet MORE glad to hear it's been debugged and working properly.

Well, which parts need fixing in regards to mentioning experience or levels? I've made an effort to fix any mention of the old XP requirements per class that I can find in the class list.
