www.decaturdaily.com/decaturdaily/news/070122/dems.shtml- Hillary Clinton - Democratic
- Barack Obama - Democratic
- John Edwards - Democratic
- Al Gore - Democratic
They say this is between Hillary, Obama, and Edwards. This is supposedly a "memorable election" because; If Edwards becomes president, he will be the first Hispanic to become president, Obama the first African-American(Not counting Abe Lincoln), and Hillary the first woman president. Discuss

Hillary Clinton's an evil bitch with a "For Sale" sign on her whole mindset and Obama is only in the position that he's in because he's charismatic, black, and young (compared to most politicians, at least)--he hasn't actually done anything. While I can't think of anything I have against the other two, the whole Democratic party is filled with elitist pricks who think they have the right to intrude in everyone's lives, so I wouldn't vote for them anyways.

So you're going republican? I lean more to the right, but the religious right is such a huge force in the Republican party that I wouldn't vote for them either; they want the same big government Democrats do, the only difference is that they want it because GOD SAYS SO PRAISE THE LORD PRAISE THE LORD OH THANK YOU JESUS. Plus, it seems like the Republican party has betrayed some of their ideals that would get me to vote for them. If anything, I'd vote Libertarian, but it's so hard for third parties to even get on the ballot, so who knows. =\ If all else fails, I'll make Christopher Walken a write-in.

Frankly, the way I see it, there's nobody on the damn ballot worth voting FOR. People can give me all the flak they want for not voting. "You didn't vote, so you don't get to bitch!" Screw those who say that, AND the horse/Bible/whatever they rode in on. Fact of the matter is, voting is the process of declaring your decision, and my decision is thus: I'll declare a decision when there's somebody worth deciding on.

For the past few nights i've been looking over some of the candidate's websites and trying to get a better outlook as to what they each represent.
So far, I'd really like to vote for Obama. He's charasmatic, has good ideals on his shoulders; But I haven't heard any dirt on him, or any other candidates for that matter, so I dont know what they've done wrong. That's one thing that holds me back from saying I'm 100% for Obama.
Personally, I think we should take the course of Isolationism for awhile. Not TOTAL, but a great restriction in foriegn immigration and trying to spread our influence, instead spending that money on issues on the home front like newer energy sources, and better schools to take us into a new Renaissance Age.
I don't want anyone in office who will continue the war in Iraq. I'd prefer someone who will remove troops and US bases throughout the world that are sitting there for useless means and wasting money. Let the 3rd world nations destroy themselves on their outdated religions and beliefs. The Iraq/Afghanistan invasions were enough of a first warning that if anyone should try to attack us after we've pulled out and try to reduce influence in the area...that next time it wont be an invasion. It'll be genocide. (my friends call me hitler when we talk politics+middle east)
So anyways. The rest of the democrats are making me sick. 9/10 of them think that their best issues are 'ones that aren't republican' its like, wtf mates? They're trying to pull a 'we're the only alternative, but we're worthy regardless of having a plan or not!' -Cept obama. >_> I probably wont vote Republican this year, at least.

I totally agree with you, Fen. Yes, we are supposdly doing a good thing helping these various countries out.
But if they're spitting on us and telling us to get out, why the hell shouldn't we? Let them destroy themselves if they truly wish to. It's not our job to randomly join in on century-old feuds if not longer-standing than that. Helping people who cannot help themselves is great...but if we can't solve that problem for ourselves, why the hell are we pushing so hard to try everywhere else on top of it?

I think no matter who wins America is doomed either way. We've jacked things up no matter what, and I am guessing within my life-time America will always be in debt, but still "prospering". Life in this world is pretty much desperate unfortunately. So enjoy it while you can.
On a more positive note, If Hillary Wins we can butsekz all da timez!?!? OMG OMG OMG... Nah, jk, She's a liberal crazy, But all of them really are crappy candidates.

there ARE third parties guys. we like, need to find one, and vote THEM into office, for the hell of it. Communists for President anyone? Or maybe Al Gore? he got stiffed in 2000, hard. hmm... maybe what we should do is get people into office that'll pass an amendment letting eighteen year olds and up run for office, and let like, thirteen year olds vote. It'd force them to stop trying to throw money at elections and actually try to be good to the citizens. Maybe I'm too idealistic.

voting a teenager into office is probably one of the dumbest things you could ever do. look at all those retards in college who think they know a thing or two like saving the environment or stop the war on iraq.
i'm not too eager to vote for any of the main parties, not even interested in third parties

Definitely Barak. He did cocaine in college? I don't care o.O. The horrible mud slinging has begun though. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouKJixL--msHalp plz! That's basically the worst they could do? I don't think he got where he is because he's young and black. He's extremely charismatic, a great orator and is running under the idea of bringing everyone together. I like the thought of the USA coming together without worrying who's liberal and conservative. Those titles don't even mean much anymore seeing as how the Bush administration seems to enjoy large government. Want to learn something about Barak? I'm sure he's done more than just cocaine. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGGIHqIoP2kEven though his campaign put that out, I found it really insightful and inspiring. I also want someone who will bring the troops home, and end Manifest destiny finally, which seems to be growing now. We don't need to control the world to live our lives happily. I say we just leave other countries alone because I doubt if they really care what we do.
