Mine's better! Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.50GHz RAM Memory: 8,00 GB Graphics Card: 2 GB I just finished installing Windows XP 64 bits, because I got slightly tired of Vista. Also, I recently deleted my internet connection from my signature, so.. Yeah.. Anyway, that's my system.. Unless you want more information about it, which I think shouldn't be needed. ~ Ralph.

I love this thing, only bad thing its a Vista pro. Vista is not actually bad. Not at all. In my opinion HOLY SHIT MAHN JUST LOGGED IN Vista is actually a lot better than XP, and I've used XP for years and Vista for almost a year now. The only thing that ANYONE [edit: anyone computer savvy and not full of shit] can consider shitty about Vista is how hard it is to navigate the control panel, which is only so because it is different. Trust me, Vista is worth it now. I BSOD'd XP thousands of times, literally, but only ONCE, ONCE, have I EVER seen Vista BSOD. And it recovered from it pretty damned well.

I like Vista too, however some peripherals I have aren't completely compatible with Vista. Which is why I decided to re-install Windows XP. However, since computer technology goes quite rapid, I'm sure everything I have now will be completely compatible with Vista in a coupld of weeks/months. ~ Ralph.

XP runs allot smoother than Vista, I don't know the details but minimum requirements for graphics cards memory ect. is higher than XP.

Meh you need at -least- 2GB of RAM memory to be able to use Vista properly.. Anything below that or perhaps even equal to, will only give you headaches in the end. That's why most people haven't swtiched to Vista yet. And, of course, also because of its imcompatibility with today's software. However, that has been reduced by loads. Almost all software can be ran on Vista today, however, I have some software which I can not replace and is imcompbatible with Vista.. So, therefore, XP. However, besides all of that.. I love Vista. It looks great. I've got the computer for it, because it doesn't slow my computer down at all. And well.. Too bad I had to downgrade it to XP, however, I'll get Vista back in a bit. Ahh well.. XP runs allot smoother than Vista, I don't know the details but minimum requirements for graphics cards memory ect. is higher than XP. Only the memory needs to be upped a bit to run Vista smoothly. The rest of it is bullshit. I have an integrated GFX card, which basically means that it's inexistant, and still it works perfectly fine for me. Also, 2 GB isn't required to run VISTA ITSELF smoothly. I ran it on 1 gigs for a looooong time, and it was smoother than XP until I started trying to play games that my integrated GFX card is like 'wtf hao I do dis shit', then it started lagging me. 1 GB memory is actually sufficient to run Vista, but yeah 2 GB is better. 4 GB is better, of course, but anything over that you'll need 64 bit. Also, another up to Vista: Vista 64 bit can handle more RAM than XP 64 bit.

Vista 64 bit can handle more RAM than XP 64 bit. Pfft.. Rubbish.. 64 bits equals 64 bits in any way. The basic algorithm behind this is simple.. 2(binary, 0s and 1s, 2 digits) ^ 32(bits version) = 4294967296bytes = 4194304 kilobytes = 4096 megabytes = 4 gigabytes. (Which is exactly the amount that 32 bits can hold. 64 bits on the other side.. 2 ^ 64 = 184467440737096551616 bytes = 18014398509481984 kilobytes = 17592186044416 megabytes = 17179869184 gigabytes = 16777216 terabytes = 16384 petabyte = 16 exabyte. Which is again, exactly the amount that 64 bits can hold. Anyway.. Yeah.. </interest> Unless you can prove me wrong with proof other than Wikipedia, go ahead. ~ Ralph.
