not sure if i'm the only one, but i noticed something rather annoying about windows 7 and multikeying in THG. what happened was alt tab was placing me into the bigger window and not the battle prompt. what this means is that i had to alt tab tab to get to command selection. after some google fu, i found this solution:
what this does is allow you to alt tab into the command prompts like normal, instead of being forced to turn off the visual theme.

Good to know, does help simplify things. I'm still trying to get Byond to accept the skin I got from Realis on windows 7. It goes to Default every time, no matter what. Any suggestions?

what skin you talking about? is it for 7 or for byond? i've never used skins for byond, and from what i've seen the 7 skins more less seem to affect only the menu bars and such.

I think I fixed my problem of this by setting the theme to windows classic. I still have the problem on my laptop, which uses the default theme, but my desktop uses the classic.

yea because if you go to the advanced options, there's a checkbox for Enable visual themes. this is what aero is, and that's the cause of the problem. you can have your cake and eat it too, as in aero and the ability to tab without lowering quality. all you gotta do is go to the registry and add the AltTabSettings and put it on 1.
bam, no tab issues and you can save the world and take over the world and enjoy the company of many womenz and etc etc
