Notes: This story will switch between POV from 1st to 3rd and vice versa a few times. I will state when it does so.
His Journey...
"Ha, Yeah right. This kid on a journey, never thought I'd see the day" His Father's words echoed in his mind.
"You don't have to go if you don't want to. It's dangerous out there and I would never forgive myself if something were to happen to you" His Mother's as well
If there's one thing that I've attained on my travels.. it's Confusion. I've learn how to kill on my journey, how to run, how not to back down, how to fit eight people in a single tent through my magic, I've learned a numerous amount of skills on my journey. But most importantly worthy of mention, I've learned total and oblivious Confusion.
*Snap Back 3 months earlier*
Crimson skies, Velvet waves, Howling Air... The day his journey began.
"May Nexus protect you and one day return you safely" said the Priest. "Yes, Return in One Piece," noted the King
"I'll be fine, don't worry about me." CC was ignorant, but he sure didn't know it at the time. Worry... yeah, the only thing he was worried about was his journey being over to quick. If only he knew what he would endure in his journey...
The Oddities that a normal man would cringe at, but he'll grow accustom to...
How many times he will be pushed to the limit with no options left...
The horrible recurrence of being beaten, eaten, burnt, poisoned, bitten, shocked, frozen, paralyzed time after time in battle.
Being brought back from a horrific death by a comrade, just to be grounded again...
Coke Bottles, K thx.
POV CHANGE - 1st Person
"Yes, I'm on my own. I'm free to see the world, free to learn, free t---- I'M GETTING DRUNK NEXT TOWN I GET FIND". With high hopes and dreams for what this adventure would hold, I traveled my first day and made it to the bridge leading to Kreland.
"HALT, WHO GOES THERE," Busted that guard. "Crazy Cloud The Blue Mage" I replied. He flipped through the papers while I nearly collapsed from exhaustion from the hike. "Alright your all clear to pass through," the Guard replied. "Ok, Thank you," I sighed back. "I wouldn't recommend going out there past dark." The guard suggested. "I didn't plan on it, I'm really beat as it is from all that walking. Do you mind if I spend the night here?" I asked. "Your welcome to sleep inside the bunker," as the guard directed me toward the retreat. "Thanks again".
I walked into the base and was assigned a bed by another guard and was then instructed where the beds were located. I made it down after 3 descending levels, I thought I was going to collapse. Opening the door, I made it to my assigned bed. I toppled onto the stiff mattress, recalling what I hid from everyone outside, trying not to worry anyone.
I kept thinking about what it could be... were was that coming from? My last thoughts as I feel asleep kept repeating in my sleep. "It's safe from that entity outside, being this far down and all..."
"Right?"
End of the first chapter. What'd you guys think? Reply on the other thread.

I felt murderous intent in the air outside
Out on the bridge
Coming from beyond the forest.
