Ok, an Idea I had was :I know Bolt will love this:
Having different stages in the game, my idea for right now is 2 stages. Pre-PoP and the Enlightened. (Maybe add post Magora)
The way I think of it is that you will only be able to team with people in a similar stage of gameplay. Pre-PoP with Pre-Pop and Enlightened with Enlightened.
I think this will help solve the problem with actually getting a PoP party, since most people who get to PoP immeadiatly start an new alt then super train them. Causing the ghost town in TotE.
This will also stop Powerleveling (People will hate me for that lol)and will keep players who have no idea what IC ... well, out of there lol. Officially stopping the begging and pleading of lower lvls for a Enlightened person to Join thier group.
Also I think this is more fair to the first group of people who actually fought their way up to PoP, No help from lvl 50+ peoples. ;D ok people you can start hating me now,
P.S. I have an idea with adding a third stage for the "advanced classes" for those who kill magora, but that would belong in a different thread.

I think that if we were going to do something like this, it'd be in stages of bosses. Those who have not beaten val, those who have but not passed Kaug. Those after kaug and before Grygasz. Those after grygasz and before geyzer. Those after geyzer and before magora. Those after Magora and before the next boss. And then those after that, if this is when advanced classes come into play. And you thought it was a pain to get a party before, huh?

Thats sounds good to me. I actually thought it'd be cool if you could get the advanced classes after mag, then Make the PoP2 monsters reflect the power and stats *and exp required* for those classes, plus =D have the advanced classes start over at lvl 1 and get to fight all the previous bosses in a more challenging then before boss fights. Who wants to hear my tought boss fights idea say Aye!

Aye do! and I agree with this stage idea. It also needs to be considered that perhaps players Lose exp if they are partied with someone outside of their stage. That way you can still party with different level stages in town and such, and travel perhaps. But you wouldn't be able to leech exp. Not sure how that exp thing would work, but it would be seriously hampered. anyway whats that hard boss battle idea kyou?

Well, I guess I'll be the first to say that I think this idea really really really sucks. I don't particularly like the idea of having the game dictate who I am or am not allowed to actually play with. Isn't it enough that people can't re-enter a couple of areas after the boss is defeated (Vallatio + Grygasz)? It's one thing to keep bosses from being refightable and I understand that, but Grygasz's in particular was some good EXP, especially for those who already beat him yet weren't strong enough to last in the Ice Cavern for long. Not to mention there are people who end up getting left behind in certain areas while others move on. Why is it appealing to tell the guy in Hassen that nobody in Mona or PoP will party with him, even if they want to, because of game completion restrictions? This isn't encouraging partying at all, in my opinion. ~Edit~ I'd like to also add that from what I've seen, EXP requirements for each level are such that real powerleveling aren't as useful as they sound. One time I was following around a high-level guy with my new character near Vallatio's place and tearing up the battlefield, then later kept fighting after he had to leave. There wasn't much slowdown at all with the rate we were gaining EXP, and because of requirements people will slow down a lot anyway once they meet the "prime" level to pass a boss anyway. ~Edit2~ As far as advanced classes go, people should only need to refight bosses if the special classes required you to make a new character altogether. If you were essentially keeping the same guy although reverting him to LV1, his past "deeds" shouldn't be forgotten. I'm certain that storyline is rather important in this game, so it's a glaring problem that bosses get refought. A character is starting a new way of life, not restarting the entire world around him.

Don't worry, stages or level restrictions will not be put in. Me and Kija will assure it.

My boss idea was sent via private message to Reap,
The basic gist of it was that the boss fight would be more like an ambush.
My idea for the stages was more like after you beat kaug you'd get the first stage marker and you couldn't party with anyone who doesn't have one, then a stage marker after Geyser, Not every boss. I probably should have made that clearer.

That is still restricting the game just as if we put a level cap on areas. IE...lvl 10+ to enter Cath, lvl 18+ to enter Kaug's bridge, etc etc. It will not be put in regarding stages, levels, situations, or progress in the game. The game design was not made for that.
