I guess I'll relay all my thought processes that got a couple of random ideas in my head. I had just read the 'Taking the lead' suggestion, and thought about how there might could be something like that for the chaotics. The first solution for that question was a certain type of battle where specific enemies gang up against the Investigators; if there were many melee users, probably a lot of fast or well defended chaotics, or if there were many magic users a lot of magically resistent or something along those lines. It would call for a need of strategy and to adapt to certain situations like an actual Investigator probably would. However, I figured that it would be denied, but the general idea of it led to another idea.
I noticed how all the chaotics literally team up, despite their differences, which seems unlikely assuming that they are running on the most vital of instincts; kill or be killed. It just seems unlikely to me that a lone wolf would team up specifically with 2 Giant Panthers, a couple of spiders, and an imp or two rather than running in a Wolf pack. The same with Giant Panthers, Ballistic Tigers, Sabre-Toothed Tigers, etc.. It could apply to a variety of monsters, but most definitely not everything, specifically the dinosaurs of Ruoze. These series of thoughts led to another one on a different topic.
Considering the the chaotics would indeed be running on the simple instinct of kill or be killed, I thought that it would be likely that a bigger enemy, such as a Gigasaur, would eat a smaller one, say a Talon, so that it would specifically survive. The chance of an Investigator to get eaten is seemingly rather low (except for Grygasz) and it would bring a sense of 'kill-stealing' to the game, and it could be extended all the way to losing overall Experience and Gold if it happens.
Just putting out some random two cents, comment or you might could use this topic for your own random two or three cents.
