My idea mostly just changes chaotics stats into different types.
Mostly for small monsters Fast Attacker: Like Wolves: Low HP, High Speeds, Medium Attack, Low Defense Attacker: Like Cougars: High Attack, Medium-High HP, Medium Def & Speeds Speed Shield: Low HP, High Defense (sometimes a 50% physical damage reduction), Low Attack, High Speed, Weak-Medium Magic. Basic Shield: Medium HP, Speed, Attack, High Defense, Weak Magic Quick Caster: Low HP, Defense, and Attack, High Speed and Magic Wall Caster: High HP, Def, Low Attack and Speed, Medium-High Magic
The reason I posted this was because I said over the public channel that I thought most of the small monsters have too little HP. Although, what I really meant was that they were really just too weak, and most people don't really worry about them at all, They usually go places based on which Big Monster gives the most exp/easiest to take down.
One of the problems is that the monsters don't really change much as you progress through areas. So as you level and progress to being able to fend off the stronger larger chaotics the small ones just seem like flies.
Out of all the hunting grounds currently in the game, I feel like SS has the best difference in the strength of monsters from when you first enter, till you get to the end.
(Insert closing statement later)

I do have a lot of thoughts on the monsters and the battle system when dealing with this. Unfortunately, I cannot really say them without revealing a bunch of changes that are not ready to be announced. But, I am glad that people are thinking about the creatures, so hopefully when the changes are announced, people will agree with them.
