Anybody who frequented Proelium servers around the times of January to March knew this guy well. He was a constant Proelium host, and in my opinion the worst on the planet.
The laggiest server you ever did see.
The rudest player you would ever meet.
The haughtiest person you'd ever find.
Oh, and his Proelium "skillz" lacked, a bit.

And his keyname was TopFlightMotherFuckinSecurity.

I had been playing on his server for several weeks. Him and his idiotic (at the time. Maybe he got better) friend Starmon flaunted their power over the server at every opportunity. They were hot-tempered holier-than-thou wastes of breath that fouled up every server they deigned to set foot upon.

One lazy afternoon he's hosting his favorite map - a positively disgusting abortion of creativity that not only lacked in design, but in balance as well. His server started crawling to a halt. And I don't mean lag of up to .2 or .5. Only sissies complain about that much. No, this was striking 2-5 seconds per ping.

Of course, a number of people aren't happy about it. I admit I made a few comments (as did others) that another person should host, even if I did try to butter it up by saying that TopFlight's computer wouldn't have to be so "stressed" with hosting requirements.

TopFlight, however, refused to believe that his server was truly laggy. No, he blamed it on "too many people being on the same screen at once". I think those were almost his words, minus the intelligence and capitalization/punctuation.

I'll say this right now. I loathed playing on TopFlight's server. The only reason why he was usually the only host was simply because he kept his on the longest. Regardless of lag, other players often won't server jump to a better game when they're already currently playing.

To put it shortly (due to not remembering the entire conversation), I was told to "stfu" and that I didn't know what I was talking about. Server reboots, new game, old lag. I play a Carpenter, and Starmon begins to bitch at me about using it. In my defense, I state that my building turrets is not playing "like ap ussy" because that's the purpose of my class.

(This would be akin to people PVPing in FF:THG and trying to say that mage classes aren't allowed to use magic because it's cheap)

Apparantly Starmon and TopFlight had enough of my "backtalk", at they put it, and banned me.

I've been on the internet for 7 years come October 11th. This was the very first thing, EVER, that I've been banned from.

In a fit of anger, I move over to DW Mythology, a Byond fangame. I rant a bit over WorldSay and find out that TopFlight is generally hated, but has an extremely high-level character. Hmm...

A friend of mine, Zeifer, began to play on the server at this time. I'm telling him ideas for a way to strike back at TopFlight. Afterall, I was only using him to play PRoelium to begin with, and since I was banned I no longer had that ability.

(It later turns out that he pager-banned me, not game-banned me. However, he refused to believe that pagerbanning blocks people out of games. More on this in a moment)

At the same time, I began telling what happened to a second friend. To keep his Aim name private, I'll rename him to DeepText. DeepText asks me to get ahold of his IP while he begins to assault TopFlight's intelligence over pager. I turn to Zeifer for this info, and after providing simple directions he gets the IP. I turn around and give it to DeepText.

Zeifer gets a grand idea. Using the information gathered by DeepText, he logs on a second key (while keeping his initial key logged on to keep himself appearing unrelated), he names a character "FBI" and logs on.

At this time, TopFlight is bitching about someone harassing him over pager, and eventually trying to laugh at his expense. Oh yeah, it all took place over Announce. So he was being spammy by doing this.

Then the "FBI" (Zeifer) proceeds to tell TopFlight his internet service provider, and that they had been monitoring his actions on the internet. He informed TopFlight that his ISP would be contacted due to his behavior and that he would become Byond-banned if he didn't stop. TopFlight laughs at him, and the FBI logs off.

Zeifer, on his main key, is still on to hear TopFlight freak out publicly with "HOW THE FUCK DID HE KNOW MY ISP!?" and so forth. TopFlight is, from what I gathered, pissing himself in paranoia but other people calm him down by saying that he can't be Byond-banned for things that happen in game.

I then submit TopFlightMotherFuckinSecurity to Byond's support, pointing out the offensive part of his name. He gets Byond-banned.

Unfortunately, a number of SilkGames threads regarding TopFlight have since disappeared, especially the really juicy bits where he blames at least three other people on my deed. I'll link to what's left as a bit of "evidence" that this took place.

The best part of the whole thing? The precision and timing of each of the phases against TFMFS. It could not have been done more perfect I believe.

Sarm got banned from TFMFS's server. About 30-40 minutes later, 'DeepText' began the conversation with him over pager, criticizing him and giving him advice as well as a warning. Roughly 20 minutes after that was when I used the website to find out TFMFS's ISP's information. I immediately logged onto his server on a alternate key (Note: During this entire fiasco, I was logged in on my main key), and did my little bit about reporting TFMFS for his actions. Just as I was finishing up in-game, Sarm figured out that he could get TFMFS byond-banned due to his key's name. As TFMFS was freaking out during the aftermath of my little stunt, Sarm was submitting the ban request to Byond. In this confusion and attacks from seemingly multiple sides, TFMFS logged off for the night.
He woke up the next morning to find himself byond-banned and his proelium subscriped key lost forever. Maybe the mysterious person who talked about reporting him the night before wasn't lying, eh?

Anyways, a good story is made even better with a short epilogue to wrap up the story and thus follows the one for this tale:

The next day, TFMFS began to use a new keyname (Which didn't have a proelium subscription ) with the name TopFlightFuckinSecurity. Sarm had that banned before dinner. TFMFS became very paranoid and was pointing at multiple people, claiming one of them was behind it. He had no idea who was behind it and would disappear from Proelium, if not Byond, for roughly a couple months.

He would make his re-appearance under the name R.I.P EAZY-E, creating (a possible record?) 30 or so posts over 6-7 topics on the Silk Games forum over the period of a day. In these posts, he continued to try to figure out who was behind the previous events, demanded Silk to reimburse his lost Proelium subscription, ask for his keynames to be unbanned and accuse certain individuals of being the ones behind his undoing (One person who targeted vehemently was GITS-Motoko who was and is completely un-involved in the actions undertaken by Sarm, me and 'DeepText' that fateful day). He quickly wore out his welcome and got forum banned by Silk shortly after. Most of his posts and threads are now removed, but what is left can be seen via the links in Sarm's original post in this thread. And what has happened since, you may ask? Several months have passed by and no sign of TFMFS/RIP EAZY-E has been seen or heard. Maybe he still plays Proelium quietly and under a alias, albeit I bet it is one without a Proelium subscription. ;D

Whenever Spiff (Known to the Proeliumers as tenkuu), he'd be acting the part of a up-standing proeliumer who helped out anyone and kindly pointed out when someone did or said something wrong...but as soon as Spiff logged out, he'd be right down there with the rest of the scum.

That and he fully supported TFMFS throughout this entire process and in the events after.

Why is it that players are constantly talking about banned folks who are back, yet never tell me who they are? I'd appreciate a heads up when it comes to ban evaders.

It's a mistake to ignore me in Proelium, because he is banned from both hosting and playing now.
